Anjita Child Development Foundation, a key partner in the Mtoto Kwanza project, participated in a three-day workshop held in Dodoma from 4 to 6 October 2024, organized by Tanzania ECD Network and Children in Crossfire in collaboration with the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG), the Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups (MOCDGWSP), and key ECD Ministries.

The workshop brought together Regional Social Welfare Officers from 26 regions and Social Welfare Officers from 184 District Councils. Anjita, privileged to work with Pwani Region, contributed alongside Social Welfare Officers from all nine district councils, adding significant value to the scaling of ECD services in the region. The workshop emphasized strengthening coordination, capacity building, and enhancing government systems for budget allocation and reporting under the National Multisectoral ECD Program.
